This taco salad, made with only one extra ingredient than the tacos, has a smart points value of 7 on the Weight Watchers Freestyle program. So go ahead and plan that Taco Tuesday and enjoy it with your family.
Enjoying this taco salad on family taco night is a satisfying and healthy way to get all the Mexican taste you are expecting without all the guilt.
- 1 lb Ground turkey lean
- 1 pkg Taco seasoning
- 8 Taco shells
- 1 ½ cup Salad mix pre-washed
- 1 cup Sharp cheddar cheese shredded
- ½ cup Greek yogurt plain and low fat
- 2 Roma tomatoes diced
- ½ cup Salsa

Brown the ground turkey in a large nonstick skillet.

Add in the taco seasoning and cook according to the package directions.

Heat the taco shells according to the package directions.

Place salad mix on a plate.

Take 1 taco shell and crumble on top of the salad.

Top with ¼ cup of the ground turkey mixture, 2 Tbsp of cheese, 2 Tbsp of greek yogurt, some tomatoes, and salsa.

Equally, divide the remaining ingredients and make 2 tacos per person.
