Hi, I’m Rebecca McGonigle of LiveSnapCreate.com
I am a wife to a wonderful husband, and blessed to be a Mom to two awesome daughters.
A little bit of my history …
In my previous life I was an Electrical Engineer and spent my time working on advanced technologies for a research and development company. I was fortunate enough to travel the country testing out these new technologies, and you are using many of them today!
While that work was extremely fulfilling, once I had my first daughter I knew that I couldn’t bear the thought of being away from her and decided to start my second career as a stay-at-home Mommy. It has been the best decision and a couple years after the first daughter came the second. (If the second one had come first, there probably wouldn’t be a second!! She is a spirited child to say the least.)
When my daughters were little I used to spend nap and sleeping times crafting, and that was a great way to fill extra time (and avoid cleaning). Once my girls started school, I started devoting the majority of my time to volunteering. I am a leader for both my daughters’ Girl Scout Troops, and did a two-year stint as PTA President at their school. That was and still is a passion of mine, as I believe being involved in your children’s school and activities helps them become successful adults (or here’s to hoping it does!).
Where I am now …
But alas, I need something of my own now and this blog is it. I want to help you find your creative voice, learn how to use your cameras, quickly edit your photos, and give you snippets of my crazy life as a Mom of quickly growing girls. I hope to provide you with pretty inspiration you can use in your own daily life.
In addition, to needing an outlet for my inside voice (although maybe it should stay inside, we’ll see), I wanted to have a way to be at home when my kids aren’t in school, and contribute to my family income. In that vein, you will find product recommendations for things that I actually use in my own crafts and photography and you will soon be able to visit my Etsy shop. If you don’t want to make some of the stuff I create, I will make it for you.
I hope this has answered some of your questions about me, and you stick around a while!!!
